The Accounting Manager (m/f/d) will oversee day-to-day accounting and reporting activities for a portfolio of real estate entities managed by Proxity. This role is responsible for the preparation and review of management and statutory accounts under Lux GAAP and IFRS, the supervision of the accounting team, and the implementation of robust internal controls and reporting processes. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting skills with leadership capabilities and a hands-on, proactive mindset.This position offers broad exposure to the full finance value chain, including consolidation support, tax compliance, audit coordination, financings and distributions.

Position Summary
Key Responsibilites
1. Financial Reporting & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts inaccordance with Lux GAAP and IFRS.
- Support Lux GAAP to IFRS conversions and assist with external consolidated reporting.
- Contribute to timely and accurate preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and support timely settlements.
- Monitor loan agreements, interest schedules and amortization.
- Support FP&A with cash-flow modelling, forecasting tools and covenant-related items.
- Contribute to cash distribution analysis and investor repatriation.
- Support coordination with external auditors during interim and year-end audits.
- Assist with timely resolution of audit queries and documentation readiness.
- Support compliance with local tax regulations including income tax, VAT, NWT.
- Support a strong control environment including reconciliations, review procedures, anddocumentation standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, automation, and compliance.
- Promote a team mindset, collaborating across Controlling, Treasury, Legal, Tax, andCompliance.
- Provide support, knowledge-sharing, and constructive input across finance.

Qualifications & Experience
Skills & Competencies
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) considered an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools, especially Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems (D365 preferred).
