other data relating to the employment relationship (e.g., existing qualifications, , , data on professional career and education, photos, references, grades, other skills and certificates acquired, data on previous employers).
We process personal data that we receive from you during the application process. In addition, we may receive data from third parties (e.g., employment agencies, employment offices) or have lawfully obtained data from publicly accessible sources (e.g., professional networks). The application process cannot be completed without the provision of personal data.
Purpose and legal basis of data processing
We process your personal data in compliance with the applicable legal data protection requirements. The processing is lawful if at least one of the following conditions is met:
Consent (Art. 6 (1) (a), Art. 9 (2) (a) GDPR)
The lawfulness of processing personal data is given when consent is given for processing for specified purposes. Consent that has been given can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
To fulfill contractual obligations or to implement pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) b) GDPR)
We process data in order to fulfill our contractual obligations or to carry out pre-contractual measures that arise from the application process. The purposes of data processing arise primarily from the employment relationship. Data is processed in particular for the purpose of carrying out application procedures.
Due to legal requirements (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR) or in the public interest (Art. 6 (1) (e) GDPR)
We are subject to various legal obligations (legal requirements such as labor law, tax law, and social security law retention regulations, as well as commercial and tax law retention regulations in accordance with the German Commercial Code and the German Fiscal Code). The purposes of processing include, among other things, the fulfillment of tax law and social security law control and reporting obligations.

Where necessary, we process your data beyond the actual fulfillment of the contract to protect our legitimate interests or those of third parties.

Recipients or categories of recipients of personal data
We only transfer your personal data
within our company only to those persons or bodies and only to the extent necessary to fulfill our legal and contractual obligations (e.g., to specialist departments, management),
to external service providers whom we use to fulfill our legal and contractual obligations,
and finally to other external recipients, insofar as this is necessary to fulfill our legal and contractual obligations.
Storage period
We process and store your data for the duration of your application. This also includes the initiation of a contract (pre-contractual legal relationship).
In addition, we are subject to various storage and documentation obligations, which arise from the German Commercial Code (HGB) and the German Fiscal Code (AO), among other things. The periods specified there for storage and documentation are up to ten years beyond the end of the contractual relationship or the pre-contractual legal relationship.
If you are not hired, your application documents will be returned to you in their original form after six months. Electronic data will be deleted accordingly after six months.
If we wish to store your data for longer for future vacancies, the data will be deleted at a later date; details of this will be communicated to you in connection with the respective process.
If the data is no longer required for the fulfillment of contractual or legal obligations and rights, it will be deleted on a regular basis.
Your rights as a data subject
At the above address, you can request information about the data stored about you and, under certain conditions, also request the correction or deletion of your data. If the legal requirements are met, you also have the right to restrict the processing of your data and to have the data you have provided released in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation.
